Does it replace Lightroom or my editing workflow?
No — and it never tries to. There is no colour grading, no retouching, no filters: your edit is finished before Published sees it. Framing & Formats prepares that finished export for each platform — crops, formats, borders, splits, layouts and title cards — without ever touching your look.
What happens to my original files?
Nothing. Every change renders a new variant from a copy of your export; the original file stays untouched. You can re-frame, change formats or revert at any time without losing anything.
Which formats and platforms are supported?
Each image carries its own output format per post — 4:5, 1:1 or 9:16 for Instagram, plus the matching formats for Facebook. Publishing targets today are Instagram and Facebook; the editor shows the format options per platform so you pick from what the platform actually takes.
Can I post a photo without cropping it?
Yes. The Letterbox fit keeps your whole frame inside any output format — a 3:2 landscape sits complete inside a 4:5 post, with a border. You choose the padding and the border colour; the composition arrives exactly as you framed it.
What is a split carousel?
One wide image divided into two to five seamless carousel panels. Swiping through the carousel travels across the single photograph — a panorama reads as one continuous frame instead of being shrunk into a single slide.
Can I combine several photos in one slide?
Yes. Layouts place several photos in one slide from a set of templates — a triptych of vertical thirds, a hero with two beside it, a 2x2 grid and more — with gap, padding, corner radius and background colour under your control. The detail shots of a shoot become one composed slide instead of five loose ones.
Can I add text or a title card?
Yes, twice over. Any image can carry text layers with a curated set of fonts, and colour-only slides work as title or closing cards — a sneak-peek carousel can open with a typographic slide in your brand colour, no image required.
How do the live platform checks work?
While you edit, the editor checks the post against the target platform and flags what will not work — mixed aspect ratios across a carousel, a format the platform does not take, too many slides. The hints react to your changes as you make them, so the warning is gone before the post ever goes out.
